Barcelona sporting director Albert Soler has reportedly resigned from his position.
The 51-year-old is said to have handed in his notice to club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who recently accepted the departure of director of football Raul Sanllehi.
According to Marca, Soler claimed that tiredness was a reason behind his decision to leave following a summer that included the £200m exit of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spanish giants tried to replace the Brazilian during the transfer window and made attempts to bring in Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, but they were unsuccessful.
General manager Pep Segura and technical secretary Robert Fernandez are said to be drawing up plans for the January transfer window.
