Barcelona will reportedly use Antoine Griezmann as cover for the injured Luis Suarez in the second half of the 2019-20 campaign after deciding against signing a new striker.
The Spanish champions have been linked with a number of forwards during the January transfer window but will allegedly not bring a new attacker to the club before the deadline.
According to Marca, Griezmann will be the player used to cover for Suarez, who is expected to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury which required an operation.
The France international has scored 12 times in 29 appearances for Quique Setien's side during the 2019-20 campaign, including seven goals in La Liga but now appears set for a central role in the side.
Ousmane Dembele is also currently on the sidelines for the Catalan giants, although the former Borussia Dortmund attacker is allegedly not far away from making his return from a hamstring problem.
Barca will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they host Levante on Sunday night.
