Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has warned Sunday's opponents Elche that his side are in "buoyant mood" ahead of their La Liga opener at the Camp Nou tonight.
Enrique's troops thrashed Club Leon 6-0 in the Joan Gamper trophy last Monday, and the Spaniard has stressed that the free-scoring Catalans are hungry to get their campaign off to a winning start.
He told reporters: "It has been a great week in terms of the team dynamic and we are going into the game in the same buoyant mood as we did before the Gamper.
"We may have high hopes for the future, but we're more concerned with the present, and that means the game with Elche.
"We're mentally prepared for this and keen to get our League campaign off to a winning start."
Tonight's clash is scheduled to get underway at 8pm.
