Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has insisted that he will wait to pen a new contract at the Nou Camp, claiming that others need to be "calm" over the situation.
The successful boss, whose contract expires at the end of the season, believes that he is in control of the issue.
"People need to be calm," Guardiola told Barcelona's official website. "I know what I'm doing. I know when I have to do it and how it needs to be done.
"It always helps the stability of the club. When I make that decision I will contact the president [Sandro Rosell]."
The Spanish and European champions became the best club side in the world following their World Cup victory over Santos in Japan.
