Andres Iniesta has revealed his delight after signing "a lifetime contract" with Barcelona.
On Friday it was announced that the 33-year-old had agreed a new long-term deal with the Spanish giants.
Iniesta, who has already made eight appearances for Barcelona in all competitions this season, has also insisted that leaving Camp Nou never crossed his mind as the midfielder targets a successful 2017-18 campaign.
"This club has seen me grow and evolve. To be captain of this great club is an amazing privilege. At the end of each season we will make a joint decision on what is best for both parties. This is priceless," Iniesta told reporters.
"I love this club and I will be here until my body and mind know it is time to stop. I cannot be anywhere else other than here, I have said it many times before and I will say it again. This renewal fill me with pride, joy and happiness. Right now, my focus is to get to the end of the season and win more trophies."
Iniesta has scored 55 times in 639 appearances for Barcelona - winning eight La Liga titles, five Copas del Rey and four Champions League titles during his time in the first team.
