Former Holland striker Patrick Kluivert will be one of new coach Louis van Gaal's assistants for the national team, the Dutch football federation (KNVB) has announced.
The 36-year-old is Holland's all-time record goalscorer and will work alongside Van Gaal and his number two Danny Blind.
Kluivert will hope to use his wealth of experience to transform Holland's fortunes after a dismal exit from Euro 2012.
The forward played for a host of top European clubs during a prolific career including Barcelona, Ajax, AC Milan and Newcastle United.
