Former Barcelona midfielder Michael Laudrup has criticised Neymar for "provoking" the Leganes players during Saturday's La Liga contest in the outskirts of the Spanish capital.
With Barcelona leading 5-1 in the latter stages of the league match, Neymar kept hold of the ball and produced a couple of step-overs, which saw Omar Ramos ultimately booked for lashing out at the Brazilian.
"Why step on the ball and walk across the pitch? To provoke them," Laudrup said while commentating for beIN Sports. "Pass the ball and go somewhere else! At 0-4 you can't be stepping on the ball and provoking your opponents."
Neymar, who missed the start of the 2016-17 campaign after representing Brazil in the Olympics, has scored twice and registered five assists in three appearances for Barcelona this season.
