Clement Lenglet has reiterated that there needs to be patience regarding the development of Barcelona teenager Ansu Fati.
Despite being just 16 years of age, Fati marked his first start with a goal and an assist as the Catalan giants recorded a 5-2 victory over Valencia on Saturday night.
Expectations over the progression of the prospect have inevitably increased, although Lenglet has called for calm as the attacker looks to maintain a spot in the first-team squad.
The Frenchman told Movistar+: "He is only 16 years of age, so we need to be patient with him.
"He makes the most of his minutes and is a great kid who deserves what's happening to him. We always tell him to listen, work and learn."
Fati will hope to make his Champions League bow when Barcelona face Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday evening.
