Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has claimed that the club's supporters have a big role to play this season.
The Basque outfit's struggles in the early part of the campaign dropped attendances at the Anoeta.
However, the fans have flocked back in their numbers in recent weeks and Moyes has praised their contribution to Sunday's 1-0 win over Barcelona.
"The team have given the fans something to enjoy, they showed great courage, and it spread to the fans. We know that if we give them something, they always respond," Moyes told reporters.
"We want it to be always like this because the bigger the crowd at Anoeta, the better the team we'll be in the future.
"I hope in the future it's just as packed out [as it was against Barca] and that the fans continue to cheer the team on."
Moyes was sacked by Manchester United towards the end of last season, but returned to management with Sociedad in November.
