Barcelona forward Pedro has admitted that he is finding it "difficult" not being an automatic starter for the Catalan outfit.
The Spaniard has been in Barca's first team since 2008 and until this season, has been a regular for the Spanish club.
Luis Suarez's arrival in the summer has pushed Pedro out of the first XI, however, with the majority of his appearances this season coming from the bench.
"It's difficult for those who don't play that much and we all hope for an opportunity. In these matches you have to give your best and your best for the team, contribute and make life difficult for the coach," Pedro told AS after starting Sunday's 5-0 win over Levante.
"I'm refreshed and I'm happy. I'm training well and it's logical that everyone wants more opportunities when not playing. I give everything when I am on the field and playing. Overall, I'm happy with my work and my teammates."
Pedro has scored 10 times in 32 games for Barca this season.
