Barcelona captain Carles Puyol could make his return from injury against Real Zaragoza on Saturday.
The defender has spent the last six weeks on the sidelines with an elbow problem that he picked up during his side's Champions League victory over Benfica at the start of October.
"Puyol has had a few games training with the group and lacks match fitness," coach Tito Vilanova told reporters.
"However, since his elbow injury he has not stopped and that's pretty great."
Barca go into the game at the Camp Nou with a three-point lead at the top of La Liga.
