Sergi Roberto has insisted that he was "really happy" to have featured for Barcelona in a holding midfield role during yesterday's 2-0 win over Eibar.
The 23-year-old has only turned out for Barca on 11 occasions this season, but, with Sergio Busquets injured, he was handed a rare start by head coach Luis Enrique.
Speaking to the club's official website, Roberto said: "I have been practicing in that position all week and when I saw that the boss had included me in the starting eleven, I was really happy.
"I am happy with my game, but even more for the win because it was very important considering the difficult week we have ahead."
Roberto, who is a former Spain Under-21 international, joined Barca as a trainee back in 2006.
