Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has expressed his belief that 'team spirit' played a major role in their 1-0 win over Barcelona on Sunday.
The Basque outfit had to spend long periods without the ball at the Anoeta, but a Jordi Alba own goal secured all the points for the hosts.
"I'm happy because we won and got the three points. We knew they were great opponents, so we're very happy to win," the stopper told reporters.
"We analysed during the week how to win the match, and now we can enjoy these three points. We had to be a team to win. If we work like this from now on, we'll gain more positive results."
Sociedad dropped into the relegation zone in the first half of the season, but since David Moyes took charge in November, they have lost just once in the league.
