Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed during Sevilla's 2-2 draw with Barcelona in La Liga.

Kevin Gameiro scored a late equaliser as Sevilla came from behind to draw 2-2 with Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday.

Goals from Lionel Messi and Neymar left Barca with a two-goal lead, but Ever Banega responded for the hosts, before Gameiro netted after 84 minutes to secure a share of the spoils.

Barca are now just two points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table, while Sevilla are level on points with fourth-place Valencia, who have a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed in Seville.

SEVILLA

Goal

Sergio Rico: Could only watch both of Barcelona's goals nestle in the top corner, but the ever-improving Spaniard made a couple of excellent stops on another impressive night. (7/10)

Defence

Coke: Found himself forward on a number of occasions in the second period, but the Spaniard's overall quality was disappointing. Too often his delivery failed to find its intended target. (6/10)

Daniel Carrico: Made a number of super blocks in the first period and was also calm and composed in possession of the ball. Had a solid game at the centre-back for the hosts. (7/10)

Nicolas Pareja: Was guilty of conceding a couple of free kicks in dangerous areas, but overall, the defender had a decent night. Did not have many chances to show his shooting prowess. (6/10)

Benoit Tremoulinas: Like Coke, the Frenchman was more than prepared to break forward, especially in the second period, but again, his delivery was quite disappointing. (6/10)

Midfield

Ever Banega: Man-of-the-match performance from the midfielder, who scored his side's first before running the show in the second period. Had a really good night. (8/10)

Vicente Iborra: Has been one of Sevilla's best player this season, but it did not really happen for the midfielder here. Picked up a booking and was subbed after 70 minutes. (6/10)

Grzegorz Krychowiak: Made one absolutely outstanding challenge to deny Messi in the second half, but the midfielder did give away the free kick that led to Barcelona's second goal. (7/10)

Attack

Vitolo: The winger's form this season earned him a Spain cap in the last round of international games, but it never quite happened in this one. Strangely subdued performance from the 25-year-old. (6/10)

Carlos Bacca: Had a couple of excellent chances, but failed to test Claudio Bravo. Always a threat, but it just didn't quite happen for the Colombian in the final third of the field. (6/10)

Aleix Vidal: Frightened Barcelona with his pace all evening and made a vital contribution late on when he set up Gameiro for the equaliser. Came to the forefront at a crucial moment. (7/10)

Substitutes

Stephane Mbia: Perhaps a shade fortunate not to pick up a yellow card before he eventually did, but the midfielder was nice and solid and helped drive his team forward. (7/10)

Jose Antonio Reyes: The legs might not move as quick as they once did, but the Spaniard's brain is still as sharp as ever. Played a vital role in Sevilla's equaliser. (7/10)

Kevin Gameiro: Only given the final 15 minutes, but caused absolute havoc in the Barcelona defence and netted the equaliser late on. Cannot be happy playing second fiddle to Bacca. (8/10)

BARCELONA

Goal

Claudio Bravo: Has had a fine season, but will be really disappointed with Sevilla's first goal. The Chilean almost appeared to punch the ball onto the post and into the back of the net. (6/10)

Defence

Dani Alves: Went missing for Sevilla's equaliser, but it is difficult to be too critical of the Brazilian, who had a strong match both offensively and defensively at the Estadio Ramon. (7/10)

Gerard Pique: Will be criticised for conceding possession in the build-up to Sevilla's second, but it was still a decent night's work from the Spaniard, who has been in excellent form. (6/10)

Jeremy Mathieu: Has been Barca's hero in recent weeks with a couple of vital goals, but the Frenchman had an uncomfortable second period as Sevilla turned the screw. (6/10)

Jordi Alba: Usually such a threat for Barca down the left, but the Spaniard just did not look fully fit having only just recovered from a hamstring problem. (6/10)

Midfield

Sergio Busquets Preferred to Javier Mascherano in the middle of the park, but the Spaniard picked up a poor second-half booking and did not look entirely comfortable. (6/10)

Andres Iniesta: Still a quality footballer, but just is not contributing enough at the moment. Had a couple of half-chances, but lacked conviction when it mattered most. (6/10)

Ivan Rakitic: Was well-received by the Sevilla supporters after his wonderful service to the club, but the Croatian did not make much of an impact against his former team. (6/10)

Attack

Neymar: Scored Barca's second of the night with a wonderful free kick and was excellent in the first period. Was not best pleased when he was withdrawn for Xavi after 74 minutes. (7/10)

Luis Suarez: Had two excellent chances - one in either half - but the striker could not find the back of the net. Struggled to make his mark as the match gathered pace. (6/10)

Lionel Messi: Opened the scoring with a stunning effort, while he was a threat in the second period when he embarked on a number of dribbles. Faded a touch late on. (7/10)

Substitutes

Xavi: Has played a crucial role for the Catalan outfit in recent weeks and was introduced after 74 minutes to help his team retain possession. Kept things ticking over. (6/10)

Pedro: Caused some problems with his pace in the latter stages, but it was a big ask for the Spaniard to make an impression in the final five minutes. (5/10)
