Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Barcelona gear up for a top-of-the-table clash in La Liga as they prepare to welcome league leaders Atletico Madrid to Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.

Ronald Koeman's side once again had Lionel Messi to thank for their thrilling 3-2 victory over Valencia on Sunday evening, as the Argentine struck either side of an Antoine Griezmann finish to secure a narrow win.

The third-placed Blaugrana have now narrowed the gap to Atletico at the top to just two points, while second-placed Real Madrid are only ahead of Koeman's side on head-to-head points.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Ansu Fati

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage starlet Ansu Fati continues to recover from the serious knee injury he sustained in November, and Koeman has admitted that he does not know if Fati can return before the end of the season.

Philippe Coutinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

As is the case with Fati, Everton-linked Philippe Coutinho is recovering after undergoing knee surgery, and Koeman is unsure whether the attacker will play again before the campaign concludes.

Martin Braithwaite

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: May 8 (vs. Atletico)

Martin Braithwaite has now sat out Barca's last four La Liga games after spraining his ankle, and the Danish striker is facing a race to be fit for the visit of Atletico.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barca have no players suspended for this game.
