Late goals from Seydou Keita and Xavi Hernandez have given Barcelona a 3-1 win over Sporting Gijon at the Nou Camp.
The hosts took a first-half lead when Andres Iniesta tapped in from Adriano's cross on 42 minutes.
However, Barca's night was made more difficult when Gerard Pique was shown a straight red card just minutes into the second half for a foul on Miguel de las Cuevas as the last man.
Gijon took advantage almost instantly as David Barral snuck in at the near post to convert Formose Mendy's low cross.
Pep Guardiola's side regained the lead with 12 minutes to play when Keita curled in from the edge of the area after he had collected Alexis Sanchez's pass.
The three points were sealed in the final five minutes thanks to Xavi's delicate chip over the goalkeeper.
