Celta Vigo have humiliated Barcelona 4-1 in their La Liga fixture, after goals from Nolito, John Guidetti and a brace from Iago Aspas sealed the win at Balaidos.
The home side started the game brightly and were rewarded for their efforts, as Nolito came back to haunt his former side with a curling effort to break the first-half deadlock.
Former Liverpool forward Aspas doubled the lead on the half-hour mark, as he raced through to face Marc-Andre ter Stegen one on one and then beat the German keeper with a chip from outside the box.
Aspas nearly scored his brace and third for the team just after the restart, as he beat the Barca backline again, only to shift his shot wide of the left-hand post.
Lionel Messi hit the post from close range soon after, as Luis Enrique's side became frustrated with their efforts.
However, Aspas did grab his brace 10 minutes after half time, as the Barcelona defence failed to learn from their mistakes as they let the 28-year-old run from his own half to slot past Ter Stegen.
Neymar got one back as he latched onto a Messi free kick and then calmly slotted past the goalkeeper.
However, what looked like a lifeline promptly turned into a consolation, as former Manchester City man Guidetti rounded off the rout for the home side.
