Barcelona have kept up their unbeaten start to the La Liga season with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou.
The triumph has seen the Catalans record the best ever start to a season by any club in the league's 113-year history with 13 wins and one draw from their opening 14 games.
The hosts took the lead in the 22nd minute when Gerard Pique fired in the rebound from six yards after Cesc Fabregas's initial effort had been saved from a corner.
They doubled their advantage just minutes later as Fernando Amorebieta could only hack Lionel Messi's goal-bound effort into his own net.
It was 3-0 in the final moments of the first half thanks to Adriano's powerful finish.
Fabregas all but secured the three points before the hour when he found space in the area to thump the ball home.
Bilbao finally got on the scoresheet with 65 minutes on the clock as Ibai Gomez finished a decent passing move by firing under Victor Valdes.
However, Barca grabbed their fifth goal of the night five minutes later when Messi swept the ball into the top corner with his right foot.
