The agent of Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has confirmed that negotiations are underway with Inter Milan over signing his client.
Reports from Italy earlier today had suggested that the Nerazzurri were keen on signing the 24-year-old, who started 12 games in the Catalans' treble-winning season last term.
"We're talking with Inter about Montoya," Juan De Dios Carrasco told Calciomercato.
"We hope the deal will have a positive ending, we're working on it. Montoya thinks Inter is a great club, and a great opportunity."
Montoya, a product of the famed La Masia youth academy, is contracted to the Camp Nou club until 2018.
