Barcelona are reportedly considering offering Lionel Messi a lifetime contract at Camp Nou.
Earlier this month, it was claimed that the Spanish champions were preparing to open talks with the Argentina international over a new deal.
Messi has entered the final two years of his contract with the Catalan giants, who are currently in Japan preparing for the 2019-20 campaign.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are set to offer the 32-year-old the chance to sign a lifetime deal to ensure that he ends his career with the club.
The attacker struck 51 times in 50 appearances for his club in all competitions last season, while he has netted over 600 goals for the Spanish giants since debuting in 2004.
Messi has not yet joined up with the Barca squad for pre-season following his involvement for Argentina at the 2019 Copa America.
