Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Samuel Umtiti from Lyon on a five-year deal.
The 22-year-old was part of the French side that made it all the way to the final of Euro 2016, making his debut in the quarter-final victory over Iceland before keeping his place for the last two games of the campaign.
Umtiti was heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou during the tournament, and has now completed the switch in a deal worth €25m (£21.1m).
The club also confirmed that the centre-back has a buy-out clause of €60m (£50.6m), and is contracted to the Spanish giants until 2021.
The French international had been at Lyon since the age of eight, coming through the ranks at the club and going on to make 170 appearances for the senior side.
The move is subject to a medical, which will take place on Friday, while the player is due to be officially unveiled later that day.
