AC Milan have reportedly rejected an offer from Barcelona for defender Alessio Romagnoli.
Barcelona are in the market for a new centre-back this summer with Matthijs de Ligt being their priority target, but Paris Saint-Germain are regarded as the frontrunners for the youngster.
That has left the Catalan giants to consider possible alternatives, which has allegedly led to their sights being set on Romagnoli.
However, Tuttosport claim that AC Milan have turned down a bid of £35.7m as they look to keep hold of one of their key men.
The Serie A side must comply with FFP regulations over the coming months, although the report states that cashing in on Romagnoli is not on their agenda.
The 24-year-old still has three years remaining on his contract.
