Barcelona have reportedly identified Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich as a transfer target.

The 24-year-old is closing in on 200 appearances for Bayern in all competitions, having been a key player for the club since arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2015.

The Germany international has already featured on 26 occasions for the Bundesliga champions this season, operating as either a right-back or a holding midfielder for the club.

Kimmich has a contract at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2023, but according to reports in Spain, Barca are determined to bring him to Camp Nou in the near future.

The report claims that a deal could take place for a figure in the region of £68m, although Bayern are expected to battle to keep hold of one of their most important players.

Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto have shared the right-back spot for the Spanish champions this season, but the former is currently being strongly linked with a move away from the club.
