A number of Bayern Munich players want Philippe Coutinho to be signed on a permanent basis.
During the summer transfer window, Bayern won a hotly-contested race to secure a season-long loan deal for the Barcelona midfielder.
Since his arrival before the start of the campaign, Coutinho has contributed seven goals and seven assists from 19 appearances in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
After the Brazilian starred against Werder Bremen on Saturday, teammate David Alaba was quoted by The Mirror as saying: "If you watched the game today, we have to buy him, right?"
Robert Lewandowski added: "It was outstanding how he did that today. We need this kind of player. I'm really happy that he showed what he is able to do."
However, it is unclear whether Bayern have the funds to sign Coutinho, who is valued in the region of £100m.
