Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has hinted that Martin Montoya could yet remain with the Catalan outfit.
Montoya has been strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou after failing to secure a regular spot in the first team.
The defender's agent has also claimed that the 23-year-old will leave in the January transfer window.
However, after impressing in Barca's 8-1 win over Huesca in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday, Enrique has hinted at a possible U-turn.
"I selected him because I've seen the level he's been at in training and I know his capabilities," he told reporters.
"Any player can turn his situation around. Like the rest of his teammates who played in this game, he did so at a great level."
Juventus are believed to lead the race for the Spaniard.
