Luis Suarez has backed Barcelona's rumoured pursuit of "very talented" Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
The 22-year-old has impressed for the Nerazzurri by scoring 24 times over the last two seasons.
Barca are said to be the frontrunners to sign Martinez from Inter, despite reportedly facing some competition from bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Lionel Messi recently talked up the ability of his Argentina international teammate and Suarez has now done likewise.
"Lautaro is very talented. He is a player who in his second year in Italy is playing at a great level," Suarez told RAC 1.
"But the players do not make decisions. I have been saying for two years that it would be good to bring in a young striker so he can start adapting and learn for when I leave."
Suarez is currently nursing a knee injury that could see him miss the remainder of 2019-20.
