Barcelona have reportedly decided to open contract talks with Neymar as they look to reward him for his success at Camp Nou.
The 23-year-old arrived at the club from Santos in the summer of 2013, and he was one of the key men behind last season's treble-winning campaign for Luis Enrique's side.
Reports in the summer suggested that Manchester United had made an enquiry about a possible move for the Brazilian, but both Barcelona and Neymar insisted that an exit was not a possibility.
According to The Mirror, a clause in his deal forces Barcelona to re-negotiate his contract in the third year and Neymar's representatives are believed to be looking for an after-tax salary of £200,000 a week.
Neymar scored 39 goals in all competitions last season.
