Watford have reportedly identified Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer as a potential signing ahead of the closure of the transfer window.
Alcacer has spent his two years at Camp Nou as backup to the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, but Barcelona are allegedly prepared to cash in on the frontman this summer.
A fee of £27m has been suggested, but Sport reports that Watford are attempting to secure a two-year loan deal for the 24-year-old.
However, the report suggests that Alcacer is currently not in favour of a switch to Vicarage Road, with bigger clubs said to hold an interest in his signature.
Alcacer - who has three years left on his deal with the Catalan giants - has been linked with both Everton and former club Valencia.
