Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has admitted that his side will have to be at their best to overcome Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup.
Atletico, who won the Copa del Rey last season, boast former Barca striker David Villa in their ranks this term after the Spaniard agreed to join the capital side this summer.
"The boy is a man already. David is aware that the team comes first above his personal ambitions, but he is full of enthusiasm, just like the rest of the players. It is not a small thing to be playing in a final again. I think it is the fourth one in the last 18 months." said the Atletico boss, who welcome Barcelona in the first leg of the clash on Wednesday.
"No doubt Barcelona are the best team in the world. They have [Lionel] Messi, who is the best player in the world. They bought a player who will probably become the best player in the world in Neymar. They have [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro and [Alexis] Sanchez. They have more important players and it is normal for them to be favourites.
"With all their economic power, they have created a super team that many people have enjoyed over the last few years. For those of us who like football, it is always a pleasure to see Barcelona play. So we will go into the match full of excitement and enthusiasm, but we have our own weapons."
