Former Netherlands international midfielder Edgar Davids made a winning return to competitive football as Barnet won 4-0 against Northampton Town at home in League Two on Friday.
The 39-year-old, who is also the joint head coach of the Bees, was making his first start in over two years as he was named the team captain for their clash at the Underhill Stadium.
Krystian Pearce opened the scoring for the hosts in the 56th minute with a header from a corner, and nine minutes later Andrew Yiadom scored with a deflected shot.
John Oster shot home from 20 yards with a minute of normal time left on the clock, before Anthony Edgar wrapped up the points in injury time.
The win was Barnet's first of the season in the league, and they still remain at the foot of League Two table.
