Barnsley have defeated Blackpool 2-0 in the Championship, courtesy of a brace from Chris O'Grady.
The game started slowly, with Isaiah Osbourne receiving a yellow card for a trip on Dale Jennings after five minutes.
Three minutes later, Brek Shea was left unmarked from a Barnsley corner, but he blazed an effort over the bar.
In the 12th minute, a ball in from Barry Ferguson was headed over by Chris Basham.
On the half-hour mark, Thomas Ince was able to take the ball down on his chest, but his half-volley flew over the bar.
Just before half time, an Ince free kick was punched away by Luke Steele, but the ball fell to Neal Bishop, who tapped it in. The referee, however, disallowed the goal for offside.
Just a few minutes later, however, Matt Gilks was adjudged to have brought down Stephen Dawson, and O'Grady scored from the penalty spot to put the Tykes in front.
Early on in the second half, a ball in by James O'Brien fell to O'Grady, who was able to nod in from close range for his second of the match.
Just before the hour mark, Jennings thought that he had scored his side's third when he slotted the ball into the net from close range, but the flag was up.
