Former Bayern Munich trainee Dale Jennings has left League One side Barnsley.
The 22-year-old spent two seasons with the Bundesliga giants, but he left the Allianz Arena in 2013 without having made a senior appearance.
Jennings went on to make 47 league outings for the Tykes since arriving at Barnsley, who have now decided to release him from his contract with immediate effect.
"The club would like to wish Dale the best of luck with his future endeavours," read a statement on the club's official website.
In total, Jennings scored four goals for the Tykes.
