Travelling Evian TG have pushed themselves away from the Ligue 1 drop zone as Clarck N'Sikulu snatched a late goal to earn his side three points with a 2-1 win over home side Bastia this evening.
Youngster Francois Kamano had an early chance to put the hosts into the lead, but he could only head his attempt straight into the arms of a grateful Jesper Hansen.
Ryad Boudebouz delivered a dangerous cross into the box, which Kamano looked to gamble on only for the 18-year-old to stab his effort wide of the right post, before Floyd Ayite was denied from distance when Hansen dived low to his bottom corner.
Bastia's dominance paid off in the 35th minute, but it was in the most unlikely of circumstances given that Kassim Abdallah somehow managed to put into his own net following a corner.
TG came back fighting in the second half, however, and they grabbed an equaliser in the 65th minute when the skilful Daniel Wass lashed home a free kick into the top right corner of goal.
The comeback was complete with just seven minutes of normal time to play when Kassim Abdallah played a through-pass into the path of N'Sikulu, who shot into the bottom right corner to hand his side victory.
