Bayern Munich ambassador Franz Beckenbauer has described his side's Champions League last-16 clash with Juventus as a "mouth-watering tie".
The two European giants were drawn together in the first knockout phase today, with last season's runners-up Juventus hosting the first leg in Turin.
Beckenbauer, a three-time winner of the competition during his playing days, believes that having the second leg at home gives his side an edge, but is still expecting a difficult tie.
"Juve are one of the best sides in Europe. It is a mouth-watering tie. Surely it is an advantage for Bayern to play the first leg away, to get to know Juve first," he told UEFA's official website.
Bayern, who were knocked out in the semi-finals by eventual winners Barcelona last season, most recently won the competition in 2012-13.
