Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has claimed "you can kill me" if his side lose to Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League next week.
The German outfit are currently 1-0 down in the tie after Saul Niguez's goal was the only thing to separate the two sides at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday.
Guardiola opted to start Thomas Muller on the bench, but has no regrets over his decision.
"The reason was purely tactical," Guardiola told reporters. "I just wanted to play with one striker. My experience of playing with two centre-forwards is not good. I wanted more control, but I love playing with Thomas Muller.
"In Lisbon, Robert Lewandowski sat out but we won. Then it was not an issue. In the end, I have to make a decision. It's not over yet, we still have a chance. [If it goes wrong] then you can kill me!"
Prior to next week's second leg at the Allianz Arena, Bayern will take on Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
