Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has revealed that he expects the team to beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 16 of the Champions League.
The Germans, who have won the competition five times, were drawn against the Ukrainians on Monday.
Lahm has insisted that Shakhtar will be difficult opponents for Bayern, but the defender is confident that his side will progress.
"Donetsk are certainly dangerous opponents, but despite that, we have to make the next round," he told the club's official website. "Bayern's minimum target is always the quarter-finals."
Bayern are currently nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table thanks to an unbeaten start to the season.
