French international Frank Ribery has admitted that he is not best of friends with Bayern Munich teammate Arjen Robben.
The Bayern duo most notably had to be pulled apart by teammates following a heated exchange at half time in their Champions League semi-final first-leg meeting with Real Madrid.
Ribery was fined for his part in that bust-up and has come clean about his working relationship with the Dutch winger.
"We are not the best friends in the world," the former Marseille man admitted during an interview with Kicker. "But we respect each other. We are completely different."
Ribery also shared his pain at missing out on the Champions League final after losing an agonising penalty shootout to Chelsea.
"I thought that was our final, our trophy," he explained. "I was on the ground, broken in spirit, body - in every way."
Ribery is hoping to put a painful end to the domestic behind him by leading France to Euro 2012 glory.
France begin with a Group D clash with England on June 11.
