Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has paid tribute to Thomas Muller ahead of Germany's upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Republic of Ireland and Georgia.
A draw in Dublin on Thursday would be enough for Germany to book their spot in the showpiece tournament next summer and Muller will enter the match having scored 13 times for club and country this season.
Gundogan has said that "you can't defend" against the Bayern Munich attacker, who netted a double in Germany's 3-2 win over Scotland in Group D last month.
"You can't defend against Thomas Muller, it's extremely difficult for defenders. As an opposing player, you never know what he's going to do next," Gundogan told reporters.
Germany won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, becoming the first European nation to win the tournament on South American soil in the process.
