Franck Ribery does not know if he will be fit to feature for Bayern Munich during their trip to Borussia Dortmund next weekend.
The French winger has been sidelined with an ankle injury ever since Bayern hammered Shakhtar Donetsk 7-0 in the Champions League earlier this month.
The 31-year-old has revealed that he is close to making a return to training, but he hinted that the game against Dortmund may come too soon.
"It's a bit of a pain and a shame. I was in such good shape. At the moment I'm having treatment every day, I'm on the bike and the treadmill," he told the club's official website.
"My hope is that, once all the international players are back next week, I can get back out on the pitch and train with the team. But I can't yet say for certain whether I'll feature in Dortmund."
Ribery has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, from which he has scored nine goals.
