Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben will be out of action for "several weeks" after tearing abdominal muscles during his side's first home defeat of the Bundesliga season.
The 31-year-old was forced off the field in the first half of Bayern's 2-0 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.
It has been confirmed by the club's official website that Robben will face time on the treatment table, which means that he will miss the Netherlands' Euro 2016 qualifier against Turkey.
A statement read: "In a big blow to Bayern with the climax to the season on the horizon, Arjen Robben will be sidelined for several weeks after sustaining torn stomach muscles in the Bundesliga meeting with Gladbach. The winger was substituted in the first half and reported to chief medical officer Dr Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt for an examination and diagnosis."
Robben has scored 17 goals and made seven assists in 22 games this season.
