Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat hails the "incredible atmosphere" in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat has said that the atmosphere in Bundesliga stadiums is greater than in La Liga.

The Spaniard, who joined Bayern from Valencia this summer, also praised the German outfit's signing of Xabi Alonso from Real Madrid.

"The Bundesliga is comparable to Spain. What's most impressed me are the full stadiums. It's an incredible atmosphere," he told Kicker.

"Spain lacks that a little, where it only happens in certain games.

"There's no need to say Xabi is a world-class player. I'm convinced he's going to be helpful."

Bernat signed a five-year deal with Bayern in the summer window.
