Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost has praised his side's finishing as "ice-cold", after Dieter Hecking's team thrashed league leaders Bayern Munich 4-1 on Friday evening.
Dost and teammate Kevin De Bruyne were both able to get their names on the scoresheet twice, including an impressive first-half volley on the stroke of half time from Dost.
De Bruyne was able to round off the scoring in the second 45 minutes with two well-taken goals to complete the rout of the reigning Bundesliga champions.
"We played very well on the counter and were ice-cold," the Dutchman told the official Bundesliga website.
"The first goal was very fast and the second was just a happy one. We played better until the end. We can be very proud."
The result is the first defeat for Bayern this season in the Bundesliga, with manager Pep Guardiola admitting that his side 'could not live with Wolfsburg's attack'.
