Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has said that his side's recent encounter with Eintracht Braunschweig proved to be a difficult and complicated affair for the champions.
Pep's men ran out 2-0 winners over visiting Braunschweig, but Bayern were not able to add to their tally for the best part of an hour, having scored two goals in the first 30 minutes.
"It was a very complicated and difficult game against a very defensively minded opposition," Guardiola told reporters.
"We had more possession in the first half and dominated [the match]. We were very confident following the Dortmund win and the trip to Moscow.
"In the second half, we weren't able to get Mario Mandzukic into the game, but it's another match we've managed to win. I am very pleased with the performance."
Bayern's win ensured that the champions continue to enjoy an unbeaten start to the season.
