Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has hinted that he will step down from his post at the end of the season.
Heynckes' current contract with the German giants runs out next summer, and he admits that Bayern may not offer him a new deal.
"Let's be honest: I have a two-year contract that ends on June 30, 2012 and then another stage of life would come to an end," he told Suddeutsche Zeitung.
"I am no longer 37 years old. Ultimately, it's also whether they want a young or an old coach here.
"At Bayern one thing is important - success."
Bayern will begin their 2012-13 Bundesliga campaign with an away game against Greuther Furth on Saturday.
