Outgoing Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has asked Bayern Munich not to present him with a bouquet of flowers before Tuesday's DFB-Pokal semi-final.
Bayern had wanted to present Klopp, who will leave Dortmund at the end of the season, with a bouquet for his achievements while in charge of Dortmund, but will have to make the gesture after the game.
"It's a nice gesture," Klopp told Sky Sport News. "But we're armed for battle on Tuesday and we don't want to be softened by being given flowers."
Dortmund's season largely rides on Tuesday's game since the DFB-Pokal is the only trophy that they can lift this season. Victory would send them through to next month's final and keep alive their hopes of qualifying for a European competition next season.
Earlier this week, Dortmund confirmed Thomas Tuchel as Klopp's successor.
