Hamburger SV director of sport Oliver Kreuzer has admitted that his side will need to drastically improve if they are to avoid a humiliation against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
HSV travel to the reigning champions and current league leaders on the back of a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Augsburg at the weekend, leaving Kreuzer worried about how his side will fare against Bayern.
The 48-year-old joked that they would need special help from the league to avoid an even worse embarrassment than the 9-2 drubbing that they were handed on their last visit to the Allianz Arena.
"We should put in a request with the German Football League to be able to play with 13 players or two goalkeepers. With a performance like this, we're going to concede 12 against Bayern," PA quotes Kreuzer as saying.
Hamburg are currently 13th in the Bundesliga table, while Bayern lead the way having not lost any of their opening 15 games, dropping just four points in the process.
