Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has insisted that manager Pep Guardiola is fully committed to the Bundesliga outfit.
The Spanish coach has one year remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena and has been identified as a potential successor to Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City.
Despite guiding Bayern to two Bundesliga titles, Guardiola has been criticised by some observers for failing to lift the Champions League, but Lahm has said that no-one within the club is doubting his ability.
"They are all outside people," FourFourTwo quotes Lahm as saying. "They should come here and see how meticulous he is working.
"The coach does a very good job. You just have to see him on the bench during a game to know he does his job with heart and soul.
"I'm working on a daily basis with him and you feel that he is with FC Bayern 100 per cent. His future doesn't have any effect on the team."
Guardiola took charge of Bayern in 2013.
