Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has laughed off suggestions that he could retire from football due to persistent injury problems.
The 28-year-old, who is currently out with a hamstring injury, has been dogged by a host of strains during his spell at the top level.
The Dutchman admitted on Tuesday that he had thoughts of retirement, but he has since quelled those claims.
"It's really frustrating when you do everything for your job and your body can not keep up. But I also said I have far too much fun playing football and scoring goals to retire of my own free will. Don't worry, I will soon be back again. Retirement? Absolutely not," he told Bild.
It is not yet clear when the winger will return to action.
