Union Berlin vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Wolfsburg travel to Der Alten Forsterei on the outskirts of the German capital to face Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

This fixture will see Union boss Nenad Bjelica return to the dugout after a three-game touchline ban, with his side still just above the drop zone.

We say: Union Berlin 2-1 Wolfsburg

Without their home form, Union would certainly still be in the bottom three, and they will come into this clash as slight favourites to make it four home wins in a row.

While it should be a close encounter, a fifth straight draw for Wolfsburg would be remarkable, but they have not enjoyed much success at this stadium, and that could continue here.

Frankfurt vs. VfL Bochum (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Eintracht Frankfurt will look to get their battle for the top four back on track when they welcome VfL Bochum to Deutsche-Bank Park in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Dino Toppmoller's side finished 2023 with a whimper but have shown improvement since the winter break, even if there is still a huge gap to make up between themselves and fourth.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 VfL Bochum

After dropping points against Darmstadt and losing at Koln, Frankfurt must improve on beating the sides near the bottom, and they should put things right with a win here, boosted by the return of Marmoush up front.

Bochum's recent surge has been largely down to their positive form at home, and while they have picked up a few decent results on the road, this will be difficult for them.

Borussia M'bach vs. Darmstadt (Saturday, 2.30pm)

A struggling Borussia Monchengladbach side host bottom-of-the-table SV Darmstadt 98 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The hosts have shown promising signs of late despite not picking up many positive results, as the threat of relegation still looms over them.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 4-1 SV Darmstadt 98

Gladbach have been the great entertainers for the neutral, with 16 of their 20 games seeing both teams score, and in a battle between the league's two poorest defences, goals should be a guarantee here.

After two good performances against the top two, if Gladbach can repeat that here, they should have no problem getting past a Darmstadt side who look certain for the drop.

Werder Bremen vs. Heidenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Werder Bremen and Heidenheim are separated by two points and a place in the Bundesliga table heading into Saturday's round 21 fixture at Weserstadion.

Both sides are undefeated in seven league fixtures, but the home side have picked up more points recently than the division's new boys.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-1 Heidenheim

The spoils may be shared at Weserstadion on Saturday, with the visiting side eking out yet another 1-1 draw, the outcome in three of their last four stalemates.

Augsburg vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Top-four chasing RB Leipzig make the trip to the WWK Arena to face Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

After getting their first win of 2024 at the fourth time of asking last weekend, Leipzig will look to build on that success to put pressure on Borussia Dortmund in the final Champions League place.

We say: Augsburg 2-3 RB Leipzig

Leipzig have scored 13 goals in their last four meetings with Augsburg and snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat on their last trip to the WWK Arena, recovering from 3-0 down to draw 3-3.

After conceding 13 goals in their last five away games in all competitions, a similar game could play out here, and last week's win may give Leipzig added confidence which could see them edge this encounter against an Augsburg side who need to get themselves out of a rut sooner rather than later.

B. Leverkusen vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)

An intriguing top-of-the-table clash in the Bundesliga takes centre stage at the BayArena on Saturday evening as unbeaten leaders Bayer Leverkusen lock horns with reigning champions Bayern Munich.

For the first time in Bundesliga history, two teams have collected 50 points after 20 matches, with Leverkusen (52) sitting just two points clear of Bayern (50) in second place.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 Bayern Munich

If there is any team in German football who can stop the juggernaut that is Bayer Leverkusen, it is perennial champions Bayern Munich, who have had a week's rest and will be as driven as ever to put a dent in the hosts' title hopes while strengthening the defence of their crown in the process.

Neither side are at full strength, but an entertaining contest between two attack-minded teams should be in store, one that may end as a score draw to keep the title race firmly alive.
