B. Leverkusen vs. Arminia Bielefeld (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's Bundesliga defeat when they host Arminia Bielefeld at the BayArena on Saturday.
The hosts surrendered their lead in the last few minutes during the loss, which was their first of 2022, whilst the visitors returned to winning ways to rekindle their excellent form during the New Year so far.
We say: Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 Arminia Bielefeld
Bielefeld are likely to make this a tough test for Leverkusen on Saturday, particularly with Schick missing for the hosts on the day.
As a result, we cannot see this being a comfortable home win for Die Werkself like many would expect, but we are predicting a home win by a narrow margin nonetheless, with their defeat last week being an exception during a strong run of form for the Champions League hopefuls.

Union Berlin vs. Mainz 05 (Saturday, 2.30pm)
After three straight losses without scoring a goal, Union Berlin will seek to steady the ship when they host fellow European contenders Mainz 05 on Saturday.
As the teams have been on different trajectories over the past few weeks, they are now locked together on points in the Bundesliga table before going head-to-head at An der Altern Forsterei.
We say: Union Berlin 1-1 Mainz 05
Union have to stop the rot some time, and despite Mainz's recent upturn in fortunes, their visitors tend not to travel too well.
Never a high-scoring side at the best of times, goals have entirely dried up for the Eisernen, but they can surely end their month-long drought on Saturday.

Borussia M'bach vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Two of the biggest underachievers in the Bundesliga this season go head to head on Saturday, with Borussia Monchengladbach hosting Wolfsburg at Borussia-Park.
The hosts were humiliated in a thumping defeat last weekend, whilst the visitors also suffered a loss themselves after previously looking to revive their disappointing season in prior weeks.
We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 Wolfsburg
Both of these sides head into their meeting low on confidence following poor campaigns up to this point, with lingering fears of a relegation scrap hanging over their heads.
As a result, we are predicting a nervy and tight encounter on Saturday, with very little to separate the two sides, so a draw seems a likely outcome.

Freiburg vs. Hertha Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Freiburg and Hertha Berlin head into their Bundesliga meeting at the Europa-Park Stadion on Saturday with very different ambitions between now and the end of the season.
The hosts returned to winning ways last weekend to boost their chances of a shock top-four finish, whilst the visitors continued their winless start to 2022 with a humiliating defeat on home soil, which leaves them fighting for survival.
We say: Freiburg 2-0 Hertha Berlin
With Hertha enduring such torrid form and missing a number of players on Saturday, all signs are pointing towards a comfortable Freiburg win in our view.
The hosts are a tough side to beat on home soil and their visitors look in all sorts of trouble, so Freiburg look set to continue their charge towards European qualification, and pile the misery on their visitors in the process.

Greuther Furth vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Greuther Furth continue their fight for survival in the Bundesliga when they welcome European hopefuls FC Koln on Saturday.
The hosts remain cut adrift at the foot of the table but have showed plenty of signs of promise in recent weeks, whilst the visitors maintained the pressure on the sides above them in the table by returning to winning ways last weekend.
We say: Greuther Furth 0-1 FC Koln
Despite Greuther's improvement in performances and results of late, we can see the visitors picking up all three points on Saturday, with Koln being in such superb form either side of the winter break.
The hosts remain a tough outfit to break down on home soil, whilst the visitors have been a well-drilled side all season, so one goal could be enough to win this encounter.

Frankfurt vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Bayern Munich will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga when they travel to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
The visitors had to come from behind to survive a huge upset last weekend, whilst the visitors suffered a second consecutive defeat during a poor start to the New Year.
We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-2 Bayern Munich
With Bayern having a small wobble of late by their usual exceptional standards, as well as the absence of a number of important players, we can see them struggling on Saturday.
However, we are still predicting an away win due to Frankfurt's lack of form this calendar year, but if the hosts can rekindle their goalscoring touch, we can see them causing the league leaders all sorts of problems on home soil.
